Sculpture and Classes

Classes

This year I am offering paperclay sculpting classes at my home studio in West Concord for beginners.

For private instruction please contact me at mandrioli@aol.com,  I usually have availability on Saturdays.

I also offer “project based” instructional workshops, which will be semi private or private, no more than 4 people per class.

The scheduled workshops run for 4hrs and will held be Saturday, November 4th from 1pm to 5pm and another on Saturday November 11th 1pm-5pm.                                                                     Students must be 18 years or older for the 4 hour workshops.

We will be sculpting a Hummingbird ornament for your Christmas tree.  All supplies are included in the class fee of $65 dollars and there will be a break for coffee, tea and scones during class.  I’m looking forward to introducing paperclay to other folks as I am sure they will have as much fun with it as I do!!

Here is a photo of the hummingbird we will sculpt.

Sculpture

Paper Clay is another medium that I work with, I’ve been creating theme Christmas trees for the Concord Museum for many years.  Each tree is designed to illustrate a famous children’s book.  I sculpt the characters and try to “tell” the story on the holiday tree.  See concordmuseum.org for the details of this exhibit.
