New England based Two Cat Folk is the musical partnership created by singer songwriters John Ferullo and Elizabeth Mandrioli. Both very active in the folk scene, they met at a songwriter's group hosted by local folk musician Ellen Schmidt (Two for the Show).

Soon they discovered more than a love of music in common. When each learned the other had two cats, the duo's name, Two Cat Folk was born. Elizabeth and John perform their original material as well as songs crafted by other local songwriters.

John is a singer songwriter from Carlisle, Massachusetts. In addition to appearing with Two Cat Folk, John performs solo and can often be heard at our open mike in Westford at the Parish Center for the Arts, or in Concord at the Twice Told Tales Open Stage.

His sets include songs he has written and covers of older and contemporary folk songs. Real Good Day, Johns debut CD produced by Seth Connelly, is available at johnferullo.com.

Elizabeth, also a singer songwriter, hails from Concord, Massachusetts. She released her first CD, Sweet Star Shine, in December of 2000. The CD includes original tunes in a variety of styles from pop ballads to rhythm and blues.

Her second CD, a musical storybook and CD called House Kats, is a collection of original songs based on the life and times of her two cats, Sammy and Pandy. The CD is sold with a musical storybook to encourage children to read and sing along with the music. Seth Connelly produced both CDs for Elizabeth.

Look for Elizabeth at Concord Teacakes or either of our open mics!
